Nachdem Philipp Baron schon beim vorletzten Lauf in Le Castellet als Europameister feststand, setzte er noch nach und beendete die beiden letzten Wertungsläufe mit Platz 1 und 2!

COPPA SHELL

Der für Baron Service startende Wido Rössler konnte die Meisterschaft für sich entscheiden und gewann den Europameister Titel in der Coppa Shell.

Die Erfahrung der letzten Jahre zeigte, dass gerade in diesem Highlight der Saison welcher im Beisein von Präsident Montezemolo, Alonso, Massa, Fisicella und Badoer ausgetragen wird, die Startprozedur immer das größte Risiko birgt. Philipp startete aus der ersten Reihe,  hielt sich aber aus riskanten Duellen heraus und kam als dritter aus der ersten Runde. Das Team holte ihn bei frühester Gelegenheit zum Pflichtboxenstop. Aufgrund seiner superschnellen in und out Runden, fand er sich danach direkt an der Spitze des Feldes wieder. Mit einem sicheren Abstand von 2 Sekunden fuhr Philipp seinen „MARCCAIN Ferrari“ über die Ziellinie und ließ sich von Luca di Montezemolo zum „World Champion“ gratulieren.

After Baron Philipp already fixed his European Champion Titel  in Le Castellet was fixed, did he put something on top and finished the last two championship rounds with P 1 and 2!

WORLD FINALS

The experience of recent years showed that in this particular highlight of the season with the presence of President Montezemolo, Alonso, Massa, Badoer, Fisicella the start procedure has always the highest risk. Philip started from the first row, but stayed out of risk and came back from the first lap in position 3. The team called him at the earliest opportunity to the mandatory pit stop, and because of its super fast in and out laps, he found himself directly afterwards at the head of the field. With a safe gap of 2 seconds did Philipp cross with his "MARCCAIN Ferrari  the finish line and received  the congratulations and the “World Champion Titel”  from Luca di Montezemolo!
